Following the guidance from experts, including the CDC, CMS, and local health authorities, Bowie Spring Assisted Living, Inc. has implemented evidence-based infection control measures in place while continuing to provide quality care and support to our residents, staff members, and visitors.
We have adjusted some of our regular operations to keep everybody healthy and safe and continues to develop these as we traverse these unique circumstances.
Our COVID-19 Response:
- Implementing screening protocols for all residents, staff members, and visitors for temperature, possible symptoms of illness, travel history, and exposure to the virus
- Implementing cleaning protocols and professional sanitation throughout the community as necessary
- Promoting social distancing throughout the community
- Temporarily discontinued social dining
- Arranging virtual visits and phone conversations for families
- Training staff members in infection control and prevention
- Promoting wearing masks and protective equipment
